ArtCreatesCures is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to accelerating pancreatic cancer research by bringing together the creativity of the art world with the rigor of biomedical science. Its mission is to fund early detection methods, support innovative therapies, and raise awareness for patients and families affected by the disease. The foundation works with leading scientists at Johns Hopkins University on groundbreaking studies in inherited pancreatic cancer and early detection. Through high-profile partnerships, including Sotheby’s and international arts communities , and events such as the Hong Kong charity gala, ArtCreatesCures unites donors, artists, and researchers to advance the search for a cure.
I built the ArtCreatesCures website in WordPress using Divi, with online donation integrated directly into the site. The design is by Gill Fishman Design, and my role was to turn their layouts into a responsive, easy-to-manage website. The site highlights the foundation’s mission, its partnerships with Johns Hopkins researchers, and the fundraising events that support their work. It also gives staff a straightforward way to post updates and manage content without outside help.
