The Countering Transnational Corruption Grand Challenge for Development (CTC) was a flagship initiative of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The program sought to mobilize innovative, cross-sector solutions to reduce corruption’s impact on governance, development, and economic growth. Its focus included disrupting illicit financial flows, strengthening transparency in global supply chains, and promoting integrity standards across public and private institutions .
The project was cancelled in 2025.
Contracted by Management Systems International (MSI), I developed the Countering Transnational Corruption Grand Challenge (CTC) WordPress site. It was designed as a comprehensive hub to communicate the initiative’s goals, showcase activities, and provide resources to a global community of stakeholders.
The platform was structured to include dedicated pages describing the challenge of transnational corruption, the need for innovation, and the impact CTC sought to achieve. Each activity within the Grand Challenge was given its own landing page, detailing objectives, activity-specific partners, and featured innovators and solutions.
To support knowledge sharing, I built a searchable resource library that housed news, press stories, publications, tools, multimedia, and learning products. I also implemented a searchable innovator directory, with options for innovators to share solutions, geographic coverage, and contact details, and designed it to accommodate features such as an interactive map.
The site incorporated standard but critical functions such as global search, integrated subscription forms, and contact information, and was built to support enhancements including social media integration and multilingual functionality.
Although the project was fully developed, the site was never launched due to the program’s cancellation in 2025. Nonetheless, the build demonstrates my ability to deliver a complex, international-facing platform that aligned with USAID requirements for accessibility, scalability, and global stakeholder engagement.
